Environmental Studies Peer Mentoring
The Environmental Studies (ENVS) major can be a little overwhelming sometimes when it comes to deciding what classes to take or what to do after graduation. That's why the ENVS Club has decided to create a mentorship program for any ENVS student looking for information. Ask your fellow ENVS students what they took past semesters and get a sense of what direction to head!
There are two student assistants located in the ENVS office that are welcome to help as well! They are available to answer basic questions about advising appointments, degree audits, and current classes offered in the department. They cannot answer questions about graduation or specific class selection. Student assistants are available for drop in meetings during the times below in the Environmental Studies Office in Arts & Sciences Office Building 1.
Student Assistant Hours Fall 2013
Monday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Tuesday: 12:30 - 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:30-11:30 AM & 12:15 - 1:45 PM
Thursday: 12:30 - 3:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
In addition, the ENVS Club is open to questions and can even set aside a meeting if enough students need help! So don't hesitate and speak up!
However, if you are really confused as to what to do with your ENVS major, make an appointment with your advisor. They truly are a wonderful tool in your college experience!
